Now that we are on our way home we wanted to give some conversation starters for the parents. We know that middle school students are not always forthcoming with information. And we know that students never respond to the question "How was school" with "fine". Hopefully, students are excited enough about the trip that stories and information will flow freely. In the rare chance in doesn't here are some good conversation starters.

The blog entries and photos of this trip were really cool I shared them with my family and friends. Everybody was really excited to see them. I am really glad that these kids got this opportunity not everybody gets it. They will remember it for the rest of their lives.

Thank you so much for this great opportunity. I was so happy to "experience" the trip as you did through the blogs and photos. I know that this has changed Abbie in many ways and cannot wait to get through all the photos with her. Thank you again for your courage in taking 23 kids on such an adventure. I am blessed that Abbie has such great teachers to learn from and experience things with.
